The garden is open to everyone from 10:00 to 14:00* on Wednesdays and Saturdays all year round, also on Mondays when the clocks change to Summer Time). . You are welcome to take a walk around, sit in the sun and just relax.
Equally if you’d like to get involved and volunteer you will receive a great welcome, a careful briefing of what is involved and the opportunity to become a member of the garden. You don’t have to come every week or stay for the whole session. You will be greeted by a volunteer coordinator who will tell you what you need to know and help you find a job to do. We stop for tea mid morning.

Our Café in the Garden will be opening on one Saturday every month
between March and November – usually the 2nd Saturday of the month.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came along to our Café & Plant Event on Saturday 11th April.
It was a real pleasure to see the garden full of people enjoying delicious homemade bakes, browsing plants, listening to music, and simply spending time together in such a lovely setting.

We’re delighted to be opening our gates again and welcoming everyone back to the garden for another lovely season of Café Days, special events and community gatherings. Whether you’re a familiar face or visiting us for the first time, you’ll find a warm welcome, beautiful surroundings and plenty of homemade treats waiting for you.
☕🌸 From relaxed café mornings to our Spring Market, Art Show, Flower Show and Winter Market, there’s something for everyone to enjoy throughout the year.
🐝 Explore our working garden with ponds, beehives, fruit and vegetable areas, year-round colour and fun activities including insect trails — perfect for families, friends and nature lovers alike.
🐕 Dogs on leads and accompanied children are very welcome.
